The SaintSebastian Preti undertook for the high altar of a Naples chapel was roundly rejected by the nuns who had commissioned it: they were scandalised by its frankly carnal aspect.
This celebration of music, dance, handicrafts, gastronomy, religious ceremonies and feasting takes place in honour of three Catholic saints: Saint Anthony Abbot, Our Lord of Esquipulas and, most importantly, SaintSebastian.
